Look closely at the county's biggest decisions this year and one theme keeps showing up: money gets moved, deals get signed, and votes get taken without enough information on the table — sometimes even the commissioners voting don't have the full story. Davidson County deserves leaders who are responsible and accountable to the community they serve.
The board deadlocked 3-3 on even pausing data center applications to study the impact on water, power, and neighborhoods. No moratorium. No study. No plan.

The current decisions being made by the Board of Commissioners have not reflected the voice of the citizens of Davidson County. I care about air quality, clean drinking water, noise pollution, and preserving our county's environment and agricultural roots. This is our county. I want investments in it, but it has to be the right ones. Citizens shouldn't feel bullied into anything — especially higher tax rates — over choices made without public input and behind-closed-doors NDAs.
As a Christian, mother, and nurse, I will stand up for what is best for the citizens of Davidson County. Responsible planning means being informed of the consequences, understanding the budget, and making sure the public is aware of the plans. These decisions need to be fully transparent, so the public stays informed on what's happening and can keep an eye on tax rates. I want to lower personal property tax rates, and that happens through better budgeting, proper planning, better zoning, and more. On November 3, your vote for me is a voice for the people.
